We NEVER charge session fees, and we never charge for travel. All you ever pay for is your finished prints! Our competitors charge for their time AND their images. With us the only thing you pay for is your finished images.
Heres how it works......You preload a PIX card with the amount you choose, and the prints and products you purchase will be deducted from your card. It's like a gift card. In fact PIX cards make great gifts.

Check out any studio, and you will find that by the time you pay for the session fees and on location/travel fees, you will have usually paid these amounts already, and still have to pay extra for prints.

$300 PIX CARD...... 2 hours- Three locations.
$400 PIX CARD...... 4 hours- Three locations.

All the time you need (up to 8 hours, as daylight allows), up to 3 locations. AND you get a Free FULL RESOLUTION CD of your finished images that comes with our release so that you can print from it at any retailer you choose. So you can reprint them years to come.

• FREE TRAVEL TO ANY LOCATION! (travel time does not count against your session time) However, locations outside of 30 miles from Salem or Scio may require a larger minimum PIX purchase, but there is never a charge for travel.
For instance the oregon coast and Mt Hood are wonderful backdrops for Portrait Pix and we love to shoot there, but there is a minimum PIX CARD purchase required of $400 for locations so far away.
Contact us to ask about your location choices. We are always up front about any minimums, and depending on the location we may not require a minimum.
Bring as many wardrobe changes and props as you want. The more the better! Some great props are... Sporting equiptment (snowboards, skateboards, football, Basketball, Baseball bat, paintball gun, whatever you love to do, let your inner you show.) Other great props are pets, friends, cars, bikes, etc.

Any PIX CARDS and sessions can be split with friends. Pool your money and buy a PIX card for the amount you want to share. I will issue one PIX card for each person in the amount they contributed.
For example split a $400 card with 3 other people and you only pay $100 for your part, but you get more time and more locations.
Split a $500 PIX card and you each get a full resolution CD of your images, and you get more time and locations. You can split the PIX credit any way you want with your friends. Each person gets a PIX print credit in the amount they contributed. This is a great option for SPORTS TEAMS, since not everyone has to contribute. As long as the amount adds up to a pix card level, each person gets a PIX card in the exact amount they put in. This way a basketball team of 10 kids could split a $500 PIX card and each kids would only have to contribute $50, but they each get a full resolution CD of all the images. A great value considering most sports photographers charge around $20 per sheet for one image, and the largest image you get is a 5x7. These CD's can be printed over and over, and you could even copy the CD, since I release all copywrite restrictions, and send the CD to famiy and friends.
Maybe you want to have pictures taken at the beach but you don't want to buy the $400 minimum Pix card for that location. Just split the cost with a friend or two or three and you each get more. Plus you get buddy shots as well, and a fun day on the beach with friends.
